Danbury Parish Council are participating in the lighting of over 4000 Beacons nationwide. The Queen will light the final Beacon in London at 22:30.
We are meeting at the Sports & Social Centre which will be open from 19:30 where we can follow events on TV. There will be a ‘Bring and Share’, so please bring a plate of nibbles if you can for the table - there will be a collection for Farleigh Hospice. The licensed bar will be open offering a full range of drinks and tea & coffee will also be available. Join us to make this a day to remember.
We will walk to the beacon in readiness for the lighting at 22:15. There will be a peal of bells by the Danbury Bell Ringers at the Parish Church of St John Baptist. Please wear approriate shoes and do bring a torch.

Friday June 22nd is the date for our 3rd Acoustic Night of the year. This session includes sets from Cornfield Encounter, The Sound Collective (a 9 piece group of singers who are the professional leg of the Maldon and Danbury Pop-Rock Choir), Ben Cotterill, Gary (Beano) Spencer, and Katie Staines. There may even be a couple of more guest artists so watch this space for updates. Doors open at the slightly earlier time of 8:15
