Oliver Southgate, is a singer/songwriter from Essex, His songs are a mixture of Rock, Country and Blues, but whatever style he’s playing it is all about the music. The songs are like little philosophy chunks on life as he sees it.
His influences are Jack Johnson, Keith Urban and James Taylor.

A NIGHT OF QUEEN WITH “THE BOHEMIANS”

By popular demand, the fabulous Queen tribute band The Bohemians are returning to Danbury.
A thoroughly great evening was had by all back in September 2008 when The Bohemians re-enacted the glory days of Queen including the Craziness of the 70s and the Magic of the 80s to a capacity crowd at the Centre. Tickets for that event sold out in record time so if you want to enjoy them this time round then you will need to act fast. (www.thebohemians.com)

We will be running activities for children during the summer holidays. Activities will include Cheerleading, Cookery, Go Karts, Mini Trampolining, Gymnastics and Multi Sports.

Our next Farmers Markets will be on Saturday 3rd July 2010 and Saturday 7th August 2010 from 9.00am - 1.00pm.
Come and see it for yourself and support our local suppliers of fresh, quality produce and crafts. After you’ve shopped why not have a refreshing tea, coffee (or something stronger if you wish) in the comfort of the Dawson Bar.
SNOOKER
Why not improve your snooker skills or would you like to give snooker a try?
Danbury boasts a long history of snooker. Our Snooker Room has two full size snooker tables and is fully air-conditioned.
We currently run five teams in the local Pretyman Snooker league and we also have regular Friday evening sessions from 7.00 – 8.30pm, which are run specifically for juniors in order to, give them a grounding of the game.
The tables are there for the use of the DCA members and their signed in guests.
