Strictly Enchanting

Guests at The Danbury Sports & Social Centre Winter Ball on Saturday 13th November 2010 were entranced by a bewitching ballroom and latin dancing demonstration given by the All England Youth Champions, Michael Foskett and Karina Travis. The young couple lit up the dance floor with their dazzling footwork and colourful costumes during their surprise guest appearance at the Ball organised by the Centre's volunteer Entertainments Committee.

The sports hall was transformed into a glittering ballroom with 100+ guests tripping the light fantastic in their finest attire to the sounds of the Sid Bolan Band. With black and white themed tables, helium balloons, shimmering wall decorations, ball gowns and dinner suites, the event was strictly A-MAZ-ING. During the interval, a finger buffet (by Salt and Pepper Catering) was served.

Many of those enjoying the evening attend one of Jen Thomas's extremely popular ballroom and latin dance classes at the centre and hopefully they will be inspired by watching this very talented young couple. Rumour has it that the bar takings doubled when Jen announced that this was the standard she was looking for from her students.
