GYM PROMOTION

If you pay up front for an annual gym membership during July you will receive 15 months for the price of 12.

(2 adults & as many children under 18)

FIRST MONTH FREE FOR MONTHLY MEMBERS

Any new gym member or existing non gym member who contracts to join the gym for 6 months before 31st July 2008 paying by standing order will receive their induction and their first month’s gym membership free. New members are required to join DCA.

£5 PER KILO FOR ALL NEW & EXISTING MEMBERS

New members joining the gym before 31st July 2008 have the opportunity to earn £5 for every kilo lost up to a maximum of £50. As an alternative, you can choose to have lifestyle vouchers of £10 per kilo lost up to a maximum of £100 to purchase equipment and clothing.
The conditions are as follows:

  • You have to be weighed by Arthur or Chris (our Gym Instructors)
    when you commence the challenge.
  • You must use the gym three times a week and get your card
    signed by a member of staff on each visit.

Queen Tribute Show - Danbury Sports Centre FARMERS MARKET

Our next Farmers/Craft Market is on Saturday 5th July 9am-1pm. Come and take a look for yourself and support our local suppliers of fresh, quality produce in the Sports Hall.

As well as our usual popular Farmers Market we are now having a selection of Craft/Gift Stalls including Phoenix Trading Cards, Virgin Vie, Usborne Books, Jewellery, Handmade bags, Aromatherapy etc. Come and see it for yourself and support our local suppliers of fresh, quality produce and crafts. The Craft Fair is held separately in the Dawson Suite adjacent to reception.

FANCY A COFFEE?

Our new Coffee Machine has arrived! We are now able to serve a Latte, Espresso, Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato and Hot Chocolate. Come with your friends and try one at bargain prices in our comfortable bar/lounge – you don’t need to be a member to buy a coffee.

Queen Tribute Show - Danbury Sports Centre QUEEN TRIBUTE SHOW

The fabulous BOHEMIANS will be returning to Danbury Sports & Social Centre on Friday 19th September by POPULAR DEMAND!
A thoroughly great evening was had by all back in January 2005 when THE BOHEMIANS re-enacted the glory days of Queen including the Craziness of the 70s and the Magic of the 80s.
The Bohemians are a favourite with the official Queen fan club, as they were the first look-a-like to headline the Queen fan club convention with an audience of over 2000!!
They were also first Queen tribute to be seen by Queen guitarist Brian May, who described the band as "brilliant" and Queen drummer Roger Taylor who said "Its Uncanny".

Pete Allen Jazz Band - Danbury Sports Centre PETE ALLEN JAZZ BAND

This year Pete Allen celebrates 30 years as a Bandleader with a month long Anniversary Tour throughout October 2008. He has been described as ‘Britain’s Most Exciting Jazz Clarinettist’ and his many fans continue to enjoy his unique style of performance where his band deliver an exciting happy musical sound combined with professional presentation featuring his ‘All Star’ line up of talented and well respected musicians.
Throughout the late seventies and early eighties the Pete Allen Jazz Band were one of the most seen bands of its kind on TV and they were the most played jazz band on BBC Radio Two.
